COMPOSTAGE: VEGETABLES GARDEN AND OAKS AS A LEARNING AREA (STEM)

To find out who transforms the remains of plants and animals into humus, students from the 5th grade classes searched oak leaves huddled on the ground, after the fall. Using hand lens, they observed earthworms, woodlice, snails and other living decomposers beings.
