Braga, being a city with a lot of history, there are her many monuments in which stand out:

Ø  Sé de Braga
Started building in 1509 and being considered one of the most important temples of the Portuguese Romanesque, the see of Braga, from 1910 is considered Portuguese national monument.
The your story based on the work of the first bishop, D. Pedro de Braga, and corresponds to the restoration of the episcopal see in 1070, that if they save a few traces.


Ø  Bom Jesus do Monte

Being opened to 1772, Bom Jesus do Monte, whose origins date back to the beginning of the 14th century, is considered the biggest tourist attraction of the city and the religious region of Braga.






Ø  Santuário do Sameiro


The sanctuary Sameiro, whose construction began in the mid-19th century. is the largest Marian devotion in Portugal, after Fatima. The temple, completed in the 18th century.




Ø  Fonte do ídolo
Built at the beginning of the 1st century, the Fonte do Idolo or quinta do Idro is a rock sanctuary built by the Romans. With about of 3 meters wide, there is a statue with approximately of 1 meter which has an inscription still visible where you can realize that refers to your Roman " Celico Fronto constructor ". In addition to a bust on the right side of the source, is also engraved with the name Tongonabiago, the name of a deity.
